Depend too much on the clients 

Sometimes clients do not know which information that they need to provide to the IT Auditor and that make IT Auditor had to push the clients to get the necessary document they need.

Management does not understand jargon

Information Technology has much jargon that only IT Auditor understands. That is why, management might not understand jargon when IT Auditor explaining their audit results.

Rules changes

Rules by which organizations, agencies, industries and entire business conform to are changes as time had changed. Suddenly new rules come out working on daily jobs and usually IT department is the only department that needs to bear the brunt of the storm of the new rules.

Managing Multiple Compliance Audits

IT Auditor sometimes needs to manage many compliance standards. Managing HIPAA compliant is already difficult enough but many IT departments are responsible for managing the demands from HIPAA, FISMA, SOX and collection of other audit standards all at once.
